It's our favourite time of the year. Although summer has come to an end we are excited for the new season. The best way to begin this season? With Dublin Fashion Festival of course!! We began the week at the show were most anticipating; Young Designer of the Year.

The talent in this little country is incredible! It was a feast for the senses. Delicious cocktails in the most beautiful of settings. College Green was the backdrop for the show and was lit up spectacularly. The Young Designer show was followed by a show of some of our favourite designers, showing us their pieces for the new season!
The winner of the night was JJ Donnelly of NCAD and was well deserved!

The next evening we headed to Soder + Ko for the Miss Ireland charity runway show. The event was in aid of Eric’s Hero’s and featured all the Miss Ireland finalists strutting their stuff on the catwalk.  Another added bonus of this event was the fact that Siopaella pieces were used on the runway and they stole the show (yes we're biased)!

On Friday we high tailed it in our heels over to one of our favourite shows, the Creative Quarter show in the stunning Powerscourt Centre. The West Coast Coolers were flowing and the 2016 face of DFF Darren Kennedy hosted the show. There was something for everyone including kids but we think Om Diva stole the show with pieces from their Second Space collection!

The show was curated by the wonderful Jules Fallon with make up from No.7 and hair by Davey Davey. Overall the show was filled with beautiful fashion forward looks from the creative quarter all set against a upbeat fun soundtrack.
