From Temple Bar to
Ireland's Leading Name
Siopaella was founded in January 2011 by Ella de Guzman, opening its first location in Dublin's historic Temple Bar. The name itself is a blend of cultures — siopa means "shop" in Irish — reflecting the spirit of a new chapter built in a new home.
With a background in vintage thrifting from her native Vancouver, BC, Ella brought a trained eye for quality and authenticity to the Dublin market. By 2019, Siopaella had grown to five Dublin locations, cementing its reputation as Ireland's most trusted destination for pre-loved designer goods.
Following the shifts of 2020, the business evolved its focus entirely online and to its flagship Wicklow Street store — emerging stronger, more focused, and more committed than ever to the community it serves.
