HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

YAY it's international women's day and we're feeling more inspired than ever especially by some of our fave female fashion designers that are the definition of girl bosses. So keep reading if you want to be super motivated and inspired by some of the most successful ladies in the fashion industry....

1. Vivienne Westwood

We all know Vivienne Westwood as being the queen of not giving a damn and she literally does what she wants and wears what she wants. WHAT A WOMAN <3 This kind of attitude also reflects in her unique designs which we are such a fan of. She started sewing when she was just 12 but actually dropped out of Art School after just one term would you believe! Her reason being that she thought a middle class girl like herself would never be able to make a career of art or fashion. But she was most definitely wrong! It was only when she began to style a pretty popular band that her partner managed at the time, the Sex Pistols, that her fashion career really took off.

2. Stella Mc Cartney

So in case you hadn't already connected the dots, Stella is the daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney. But Stella has made a serious name for herself in the fashion industry.  In 1995 McCartney opened her own boutique in London to sell her designs. Her designs were snapped up by fashion-conscious shoppers, including models, actresses, and musicians! Stella's style screams sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity and we love it <3 She also takes a lot of time to work with charities for women and raising awareness of being more conscious of the environment in the fashion industry!

3. Victoria Beckham

Of course many of us know Victoria from her hugely successful career in the girl band Spice Girls, but this lady has now made a huge name for herself in the fashion world. She started off by becoming ambassadors for some of the biggest names in fashion like Just Cavalli, Dolce and Gabanna and more! She even wrote a fashion book and then went onto create and design her first clothing line named DVB Style. It was such a hit that she then went on to launch Victoria Beckham Womenswear in 2008.  She  is now named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the UK! <3
