INTRODUCING BAILEY HATS

In Siopaella Designer Exchange - Blog 0 comment

As you know by now we have taken on a few new ventures this year! While the Siopaella girlband didn't quite work out (little inside joke there for regular readers of the blog) one idea that has worked out is our new Siopaedit collection. So far it comprises of Enter backpacks, the Neon Rose collection of clothing (more of which are arriving this week YAY) and the best Elka rainjackets which came all the way from Denmark!! We have decided to add to the Siopaedit family with... Bailey hats!

Bailey hats were founded in 1922 in Los Angeles. We're a sucker for old Hollywood glamour and not just the perfect curls and red lips of the silver sirens but also from the likes of Humphrey Bogart and Fred Astaire, both of which were fans of Bailey hats! The hats are all made and manufactured in America. They ooze Hollywood glamour while holding the utmost craftsmanship. We still haven't decided which are our favourites! I'm stuck between the Inglis or Criss!

All the hats are 100% wool and the Obie and the Jackman  come with a dustbag which the hat can be folded into making it perfect for traveling! No more out of shape hats sitting on our pretty noggins!! Prices start at just €75. These are investment pieces but you will be investing in a hat for life made in America using traditional methods while maintaining the highest quality of the craft.

The colours are so rich and powerful. The mallard green of the Lapkus is so striking as is the imperial blue of the Inglis! Our Siopaedit collection of Bailey hats are available in our Cecilia Street store or click here to shop the collection online.
