Festival season is officially here- YASSSSS!
We've styled a lookbook with some of our favorite pieces. A mix of brand new SiopaEdit pieces and vintage, we hope you get some festival style inspo from it!
Two festivals coming up are Life Festival (May 26th-28th) and Forbidden Fruit (June 3rd-5th). Both are equally as funky and fun, and we had a ball at Forbidden Fruit last year ourselves! Which look is your favorite? What will you wear?

If you follow us over on Instagram you'll know that the majority of us here at Siopaella are avid festival goers. When Forbidden Fruit got in touch with us a few weeks ago about promoting the festival, we knew it was something we had to get involved in. We ran a competition over on Instagram with two pairs of tickets to give away, and Forbidden Fruit were kind enough to give us some tickets to attend too!
The festival took place on the grounds of Royal Hospital Kilmainham during the Bank Holiday weekend. The three day festival, sponsored by Bulmers, featured a list of hit names in the music industry such as Dizzee Rascal, Flume, Underworld and Tame Impala. With the sun scorching and not a cloud to be seen in the sky, we got our best festival attire out and headed to Forbidden Fruit last Friday.
One of the things that made Forbidden Fruit different to some of the other festivals we'd been to was it's quirky decor and colourful tents. It really brought an artsy vibe to the festival and picnic benches everywhere made it easy to sit back in the sun and chat with friends in between acts.
There was four stages but we stuck around the main stage for most of the evening. The first act myself and Anna went to see was rapper Pusha T, who stole the crowd with his sassy attitude. That said, it was Dizzee Rascal himself that we were all excited to see, and he definitely exceeded all our expectations! We spent the rest of the festival dancing a way to 'Bonkers' in the sun, and it was the perfect way to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend.
Good music, good weather and all around good vibes- what more could you want in a festival? Thanks so much to the Forbidden Fruit team for getting us involved and bringing us along!
