On Wednesday night myself and Ella headed to the Academie Bronz' Express event where they were launching their new product Magic Radiance Drops. The theme was summer BBQ and it was hosted in a gorgeous Georgian house on Leeson Street with live music, food and drink.

Now, I am a self confessed tan lover! I have two guilty pleasures in this life and they are Gilmore Girls and false tan. I'm an addict! As I said on our Snapchat on the night, not even my bffffffffs have seen me sans tan. I buy my foundation specifically to match my tan. So when I heard about this event I knew it would be something I'd love.

In typical Irish fashion the rain poured and the wind roared (rhyming unintentional) but that didn't stop the party! The food and guitar player were moved inside where the party resumed. We ate delicious burgers drank THE BEST espresso martinis.

The product itself is a tan lovers dream.  I'm not a huge fan of putting tan on my face as it can clog up my skin but after talking to Tina and Tara from Bronz' Express about the new product I quickly said "this is what I've been waiting for my whole life!!!!!" (dramatic I know). So what you do is, take your normal everyday facial moisturiser  into the palm of your hands, then you add two or three of the Magic Radiance Drops, mix together and apply your moisturiser as normal!

    [gallery columns="2" link="file" size="full" ids="52289,52286"]

I used it last night alongside the Bronz' Express Self Tanning Lotion. It was my first time using this tan and  loved how it went on and developed! I took a quick before and after pic so you can see how evenly it developed. Huge thumbs up from me!! It retails for €24 which is a little bit more expensive than what I usually pay so this product has become my "good tan" that Ill use for special occasions and big nights out! Just like every Irish household has "the good scissors" I now have "my good tan"!

Huge thank you to all the gorgeous girls at Bannerton PR for having us and to Tina and Tara from Academie Bronz' Express for all their helpful tips.

So we've mastered the consignment, nailed the closet clearouts and in the past couple of weeks started our own collection. What next you may ask?! Well we've been throwing around ideas. Some of these ideas are better than others. Ella wants to open a Bubble Tea cafe (but Bubblicity have that covered), Id love to have our own Podcast (I think I'd make a great Ira Glass), Orlagh wants to start a Siopalla pet sanctuary (so she can bring her guinea pig Mary to work) and Anna wants a Siopaella reality TV show (we'd be axed after one episode).

We mulled over these ideas and came to the conclusion that our next big venture should be to start our own girlband!!! So, allow us to present Dublin's hottest new girlband, The Siopaettes feat. our newest collection of Enter bags.

If you're a chocolate lover like me, Easter is a weekend full of munching on eggs and stuffing myself with chocolate bunnies. Life doesn't get better then a four day weekend if you're a chocoholic! If chocolate isn't your thing, fear not- you can still treat yourself to something a little different, like one of our designer handbags. We're constantly getting in new ones and trust me, it's hard to pick a favourite, but I've rounded up my top 5 bags for every budget. Whether you've €100 in your pocket or €1000, there's something for everything at Siopaella Designer Exchange!

    Under €100

Christian Dior Vintage Monogram Envelope Clutch (€99)

This vintage Dior clutch is the perfect party bag- big enough to hold the essentials (phone, lipstick, money, chocolate.. the essentials) but small enough to fit comfortably under the arm. A little vintage never killed no body!

    Under €500

Louis Vuitton Monogram Trouville Handbag (€499)

There's no denying that Louis Vuitton is a classic brand that never goes out of style, and our wide range in store and online is there to prove it. This one is a personal favourite of mine, mainly because of it's size and structured shape. This one is the perfect every day bag for the girl that doesn't carry her kitchen sink around with her!

    Under €1000

Saint Laurent Classic Duffle 6 Black Leather Handbag (€995)

If I could buy any bag here at Siopaella right at this instant, this is the bag I'd go for. Coveted among fashion bloggers and celebrities alike, it's easy to see why this dreamy calfskin leather bag is at the top of my wishlist! The long strap is a bonus for those who are on the go and just want a bag to throw over their shoulder. Isn't it just gorgeous?!

    Under €2000

Celine Navy Croc Embossed Leather Medium Phantom Tote (€1'995)

Oh Celine, how you've stolen my heart with this classy navy tote. Again, this one is a firm favourite among bloggers and social media gurus. This large tote bag would be my dream college bag, just because it's so big! If you really feel like treating yourself this weekend. you won't go wrong with this.

    Happy Easter everyone!

As you may already know, one of our favourite things to do at Siopaella is play dress up! It's one of the perks and makes us feel pretty, oh so pretty. So when Sive (our fab work experience student) was finishing up we said, hey Sive, pick out your fav things and let's do a shoot! Her smile widened and she ran to grab her favourite things she'd been eyeing up. When she returned to Temple Lane we shed a proud tear! She had grasped the idea of Siopaella completely...she had become ONE OF US!!!! What's that you ask? Well, there's a criteria for that! You need to do at least one of these...

    1. Be humped by Raquel

    2. Pay for milk from the petty cash in 1c and 2c coins

    3. Break a prosecco glass (by accident of course) and...

    4. Share a love of our three favourite things; designer, vintage and the new Siopaedit

We LOVE the look Sive picked out and modelled! Have a look and let us know what you think :) Also HUUUGE love to Solus Street Art for the gorgeous back drop! Check it out on Temple Lane South in Temple Bar!

Alexander Wang is arguably one of our favourite designers here at Siopaella. His creations and designs are something that we all mutually love and adore (something that Wang only shares with coffee and dogs, we're a picky bunch). He is known in particular for his iconic Rocco bag. The textured leather and metallic studs used on these bags give it that unmistakable Wang look that you can spot from a mile away. Wang is also known for having one of the most successful collaboration campaign with our high street favourite H&M.
