I want you to do something for me. It's not a big ask. Think back to how many times you bought tights, undies, socks and little 'bits' from Penneys. You probably spent €60 in one go without even realizing it! And now count how many designer handbags you own! Not as many? Now imagine this. According to the Independent, the average cost of a night out in Dublin is €81; that's factoring in €41 on pints and the rest on chips, taxis, nightclub entry and babysitters! If you cut down on the nights out, (house parties are where it's at, don't you know?) in just 24 weeks, you can afford one of our most expensive bags, the Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Ascot tote. Not only is one hangover better than two, wouldn't you rather have one quality night out on Saturday with the girls and spend some quality time with bae on Fridays? Light the fire, turn on Fargo or Made in Chelsea (we don't judge) and veg for the winter months. It's only getting colder!

    2. THE CHANEL 2.55

Want to look better and feel better and bag yourself some designer arm-candy while you're at it? Forgo the daily Dart/Luas/Dublin bus journey which costs on average a hefty €122 per month and you can afford a Chanel bag in 16 months. It might seem like a long time but we all know how quickly time flies by and imagine how fit you would feel both mentally and physically if you cycled to work every day? Not to mention avoiding the rush-hour crush! This Chanel 2.55 classic bag could be yours.........

[caption id="attachment_39807" align="aligncenter" width="678"]chanel-quilted-lambskin-leather-double-flap-siopaella-2.55 In less than a year and a half, you will be mine, my precious![/caption]

Most of us eat out once once a week, right? We have birthdays, weddings, date night, the list is endless. For a mid-range meal in Dublin, the average price is €60 and that's without starters or desserts! So, if you make like Nigella and start making your own dinners and lunches, in 23 weeks,  you can afford this Celine Pebbled Leather Phantom tote and probably be a lot healthier too!

Gigi Hadid has it, Miranda Kerr has it, have you GOT IT? No, we're not talking about a rocking' bod or your mojo or a hot ex bad a la Joe Jonas or Orlando Bloom. We're talking Prada. The hot pink Prada Saffiano lux double zip tote. If you give up your twice-daily latte which costs us on average €2.80, in 30 weeks, you could afford this bag, which if you wear every day for one year, costs only €3 per day! Not bad, eh?

If you splash out on one takeaway a week, whether it's Chinese, Indian or Mexican, you're probably spending €15, factoring in your prawn crackers and can of coke. Well, eschew your weekly splurge and in 66 weeks, you could have your hands on the inimitable Hermes Her Bag. This iconic leather and canvas tote will be the envy of all your friends and we can sacrifice the local chipper for that, right?

As if we couldn't love Gigi Hadid any more, she's only gone and bagged herself a photo shoot with our favourite flame-haired Irish boy, Domhnall Gleeson in US Vogue! Well, we may not have Anna Wintour on speed dial but if you follow us on Instagram, you'll know our senior stylist Ciara did a pretty good job of convincing us all that she was Ms. Wintour at our Halloween party!

[caption id="attachment_37983" align="aligncenter" width="800"]Gigi Hadid and Domhnall Gleeson in US Vogue There are literally no words for how much we love this...[/caption]

She's the supermodel with serious social media skills, a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster as a Mom and a squad that makes our Saturday nights out with the girls a little, let's just say, empty. Nabbing the most recent Topshop campaign as well as being the face of Maybelline, Gigi Hadid is the ultimate off-duty style maven. The American beauty, whose besties include Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss is known for her curvacious figure and laid-back style and guess what we spotted??? Gigi was papped wearing the very same Prada Saffiano tote that we have in-store. This hot pink Prada beauty is the perfect accessory to steal Gigi Hadid's style and we can't imagine it will be in store for very long. Channel Gigi Hadid's style with our range of vintage distressed jeans and the plethora of crop tops we have in our Crow Street store and visit the Cecilia Street store to get your paws on this divine Prada beauty. Get it or regret it!

Gigi is a total risk taker when it comes to style and loves to clash her hues. We love how she's matched these hot pink trousers with a fire-engine red Chanel bag. Here at Siopaella, we love to break rules too and we're channeling Gigi Hadid's style by clashing the vintage shirts we're so known for with some designer pieces. We've just received a massive Chanel haul, including the iconic Chanel 2.55 and the classic lambskin flap bag - get those locks tousled and you'll be on your way to nabbing Gigi Hadid's style in no time.

Gigi recently graced the cover of Vogue in the Netherlands wearing one of Karl Lagerfeld's classic boucle Chanel jackets and we don't like to boast but we've managed to get our mitts on a few of the iconic pieces, making us just that little bit closer to nabbing Gigi Hadid's style.

As always, if you have any queries about our Chanel or Prada pieces, please do give us a buzz, Tweet us @siopaella or call in and say hello! We don't bite!

    Sartorially yours,

    Mary, AKA @thefashionhorn.
