We stand behind the authenticity of every item we authenticate and for which a Siopaella Certificate of Authenticity has been issued. Our one-year Authentication Guarantee applies to every certified item — if we ever get it wrong, we will make it right.
Every item Siopaella sells is authenticated by our in-house team and guaranteed authentic. Printed Certificates of Authenticity, and this formal guarantee, apply to items purchased from Siopaella on or after 1 August 2026, whatever their date of inventory.

How to
make a claim
If you believe a certified item is not authentic, here is how the process works. We will acknowledge your submission within ten (10) business days and guide you from there.
Stage 01
Submission
Email info@siopaella.com with your proof of purchase, the original certificate and its verification code, and written documentation from the brand or a recognised professional authenticator indicating the item is not authentic.
Stage 02
Assessment
We may request further photographs, or ask you to send the item to us for re-inspection. Our team re-examines the piece and may, at our discretion, consult independent experts.
Stage 03
Resolution
If the item is confirmed not authentic — or found to be inconclusive — we reimburse the full original purchase price within 14 days. Findings from the process are final.

Eligibility
& conditions
A few conditions keep the guarantee fair and protect against tampering over time.
Certified Items
Applies to certified items purchased from Siopaella on or after 1 August 2026, whatever their date of inventory, for which a printed Certificate of Authenticity has been issued. Every item we sell, of any date, is authenticated and guaranteed authentic under our standard promise.
One Year · Original Purchaser
Valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase, for the original purchaser only. The guarantee is non-transferable, and claims submitted more than one year after purchase are not covered.
The Item, Intact
You must still possess the item at the time of your claim. It must be complete with all original components and must not have been altered, repaired, or damaged since purchase.
Original Certificate
The original Siopaella Certificate of Authenticity must be produced. Any prior certificate is invalidated when a new certificate is issued for the same item.
Reimbursement & Terms
Reimbursement
An approved claim is reimbursed at the full original purchase price paid to Siopaella, within 14 days of resolution — not the item’s current, appreciated, or resale market value.
What It Covers
The guarantee relates solely to authenticity — not condition, wear, damage, change of mind, or suitability.
Costs
Siopaella is not responsible for third-party authentication fees or shipping costs, except the cost of returning an item to us where we have requested it for inspection.
Your Remedy & Rights
Reimbursement is your sole and exclusive remedy under this guarantee. It is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law. Governed by the laws of Ireland.
